We begin our tour with a comfortable, air-conditioned private van and head towards the lush green Pierian Mountains.
Our first stop is the impressive stone bridge, a historic spot surrounded by nature, ideal for photos and a short exploration. We then continue to the old wood factory, a special part of local history hidden inside the forest, reminding visitors of the old mountain life.
Our next stop is the picturesque village of Morna, where visitors discover the authentic mountain side of Greece, with stone houses and the peaceful rhythm of life from another era.
Afterwards, we visit the small chapel of Saint Nicholas, a quiet place beside the Mornos River, perfect for relaxation.
The experience concludes at the impressive Sequoia, one of the tallest trees in Greece. We return to our starting point full of beautiful images and unique experiences.

In the area of Agioneri, in Morna, there is a small white chapel set within a lush green natural landscape. The waters of the river surround the area, creating an atmosphere of peace, where nature, faith and local tradition come together harmoniously.
The Old Wood Factory in Morna is a historic landmark of the Pierian Mountains, connected with the processing of the famous beech wood of the area. Especially during the 1950s and 1960s, it was an important center of work, knowledge and forestry tradition.
Today, it reminds visitors of a time when the forest, timber and village life were deeply connected.
Morna is an abandoned mountain settlement in Pieria, built inside a lush green gorge with plenty of water and wild natural beauty. Its name is connected with the meaning of a “dark place,” as the village was located in a shaded area surrounded by dense vegetation.
Today, it is an authentic place for exploration, where nature, history and local tradition meet.
In Morna, at an altitude of around 700 meters, stands an impressive Sequoia Sempervirens, approximately 45 meters tall. It was planted experimentally more than 60 years ago from seeds brought from America and is today considered one of the tallest trees in Greece.
It is a unique natural attraction, ideal for a stop, observation and photos.
