FULL DESCRIPTION
We begin our tour with a comfortable, air-conditioned private van and head towards Ano Milia, a village hidden in the greenery of the Pierian Mountains.
During the visit, you will experience the authentic atmosphere of the village, enjoying the views and the peaceful surroundings.
We then continue to the chapel of Saint Kosmas of Aetolia, an ideal stop for relaxation in nature.
Next, we follow the enchanting “Path of Love,” a beautiful and easy hiking trail. Surrounded by forest, natural sounds, and fresh mountain air, this walk offers a truly relaxing experience. The trail is accessible and suitable for all visitors, including beginners.
The experience concludes with a wine tasting from a local producer, where you will enjoy selected wines in a calm natural setting. A perfect moment of relaxation and enjoyment to complete the tour.

Ano Milia (Pieria)
Ano Milia is located 26 km west of Katerini at an altitude of 1,000 meters, on the southwestern slopes of the Pierian Mountains. Its history dates back centuries, with references as early as 1537. The village played an important role during the Ottoman period and the Greek War of Independence. It was destroyed in 1822 and again in 1943, before being rebuilt in the 1960s.
Saint Kosmas of Aetolia Chapel
Saint Kosmas visited Ano Milia in the 18th century, preaching faith and hope to the locals. According to tradition, he placed a cross on a pine tree to protect the village from a devastating epidemic. The location is now known as the “Iron Cross.”
Path of Love
A beautiful and easy 1.5 km hiking trail through dense forest, featuring beech, chestnut, oak, and fir trees. The path includes wooden bridges, natural springs, and a special “Wishing Tree,” where visitors leave ribbons as personal wishes.
